1. Scope
This policy explains browser storage and similar technology on the PadelCue website, operated by PadelCue Technologies Inc. The Privacy Policy covers wider information handling, and the Regional Terms and Privacy Rights explain relevant local rights.
Cookies are browser records that can accompany requests. Local storage saves information in the browser through a different mechanism. Pixels, scripts, embedded content, software identifiers and some server connections can also involve personal information. Changing the technical method does not remove an applicable notice, consent or opt out requirement.
2. Current website storage
| Entry | Function | When saved | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
padelcue-currency |
Remembers a selected display currency | When you choose a supported currency | No automatic expiry in the current code. Kept until replaced, cleared or removed by the browser |
padelcue.playerBilling |
Remembers the monthly or yearly price display | When you change that display | No automatic expiry in the current code. Kept until replaced, cleared or removed by the browser |
These are first party display preferences. They do not make a purchase, authorize recurring payment, create an account or assign an ambassador. Browsing still works if storage is unavailable. Resetting a preference may change the displayed price view without changing a contract or invoice.
Prices use your approximate country to select a currency, with your browser time zone as a fallback. Otherwise, prices start in Canadian dollars. You can choose another supported currency, and the browser remembers your choice. Your saved choice always takes priority. Standard hosting requests still involve technical information such as IP address. The absence of a cookie does not mean no information is processed. The site serves fonts and its own media through website paths.
The current website code does not load advertising pixels, behavioural analytics, session replay or referral tracking cookies. An authenticated app, payment service or later feature needs its own accurate inventory where its technology differs.
| Entry | Purpose and data | When used | Duration and provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| Website statistics (Vercel Web Analytics) | No cookie is used. Visits are counted by a hash of the request, with data including page, referrer, country, device type and browser | Where the law allows, unless you turn statistics off or enable Global Privacy Control. Statistics stay off in the European Union, the European Economic Area and Quebec | Vercel discards the request hash after 24 hours. Reports are kept for up to 12 months. Vercel Inc. acts as our service provider |
A browser preference remembers when you turn statistics off until you turn them back on, clear site storage or your browser removes it. Clearing saved display preferences does not change your statistics choice.
3. Features we may introduce
We may add technology for the purposes below when supported by the relevant disclosure and lawful controls:
- Necessary operation, authentication, fraud prevention, security and a service expressly requested by you.
- Preferences and functional features that remember choices or support a requested interaction.
- Analytics and product measurement that help understand use, reliability and feature performance.
- Referral attribution and conversion measurement under the applicable programme.
- Optional personalization, embedded third party media, advertising and advertising measurement.
Before such technology starts, the applicable inventory must state the actual provider, entry or technology, purpose, duration and relevant recipients. We use an exemption from prior consent only where its conditions actually apply. Otherwise the technology remains off until the required positive choice. A technology is not necessary merely because it is profitable, helps advertising or records a referral. We do not send the titles of lessons you watch, together with anything that identifies you or your device, to any analytics or advertising provider.
This section reserves the ability to introduce lawful features. It does not turn them on, authorize undisclosed tracking or obtain advance agreement to unspecified providers. New tools must respect an existing choice and earlier commitments concerning existing information.
4. Optional consent and privacy signals
Where optional categories are offered, they start off, and accepting or rejecting them is equally accessible. You can choose by purpose and withdraw through the same accessible preference route. A refusal does not prevent unrelated website use. We obtain a new choice where a material change requires it.
Where applicable law requires recognition of a universal opt out signal, such as Global Privacy Control for a covered sale or sharing activity, we respect that signal for its applicable scope. We do not interpret a conflicting consent form or continued browsing as automatic permission to override it. A signal does not itself cancel a subscription or delete an earned financial record.
We do not bypass a refusal by moving equivalent tracking to local storage, fingerprinting, a mobile identifier or a server connection. Advertising outside the scope of tracking, or an applicable limited exemption, must still meet the law governing the activity.
Website statistics run where the law allows, with a free way to turn them off using the controls below. A banner offering nonexisting categories would not reflect the current inventory. The controls below manage the saved display preferences that actually exist.
5. Manage saved preferences
Change the display currency or billing view on the relevant pricing page. The “Clear saved display preferences” button below removes the two entries listed in this policy from this browser. It preserves unrelated storage and does not claim to withdraw other permissions or delete server records.
If your browser restricts storage access, use its site data settings to clear the entries. You can also block or remove site storage through browser controls, which may affect requested functionality. Clearing cookies or local storage does not itself cancel a paid plan, close an account, revoke a recording permission or reverse a valid referral payment.
6. External services and messages
An external scheduling, payment, app store or other link takes you to that provider's service, where its technology and notice may apply. Embedding a provider directly in PadelCue requires the appropriate assessment and choices before optional requests are made.
Email measurement can use remote images or links rather than cookies. Its treatment belongs in the relevant notice and consent process. General email permission is not unrestricted permission for device access or behavioural profiling.
7. Changes and contact
We update this policy and the applicable inventory when the actual technology or purposes change, and obtain any required choice before activation. Contact support@padelcue.com about storage, tracking or your choices. For important formal matters requiring our Privacy Officer, use the Privacy Policy contact or write to the Privacy Officer, PadelCue Technologies Inc., 4711 Yonge Street, 10th Floor, Toronto, Ontario M2N 6K8, Canada.
