1. Different uses need different permissions
PadelCue provides match recording, analysis and training services and may offer ways to contribute to product development or share material. Permission to do one of these things is not permission to do all of them. The Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and Regional Terms and Privacy Rights explain the applicable framework.
This page explains the available types of permission. Reading it does not grant them. The relevant choice must identify the actual material, people, purposes and other information before the use begins. Where a feature is not offered or its requirements are not met, this page does not activate it.
2. Record and analyze a match
The match notice identifies the venue, court, session, actual capture modes, participants, authorized recipients and storage or viewing periods. Video, player images and tracking information may be used to produce replay, clips, estimates and your Smart Match report.
Every affected person's required permission must be obtained. Paying, organizing the match, choosing a club or owning a camera does not give authority to decide for the other adults. Guests must have an accessible way to understand the notice, make their own choice and contact us without buying an account.
Match recording is for adults. We do not knowingly record a match while anyone under 18 is on court, and our recording service is not offered to residents of Quebec. Match recordings, including the raw video, are kept for up to 12 months after the match and then deleted. Match reports and stats stay for as long as your account exists. Viewing recordings and reports needs an active plan or the match purchase. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. A match bought separately keeps its own access rules. Our copies of match video are stored in the United States, and our camera provider processes match video in the European Union. The Privacy Policy explains where information is processed and how to ask for written information about our providers outside Canada.
If a required permission is missing, the recording cannot proceed on the basis of someone else's checkbox. A change of roster or withdrawal must be handled before further affected processing. Where lawful recording cannot continue, we stop or restrict it through the applicable process. The venue can explain an available way to play without that recording. Academy access does not depend on agreeing to court recording.
3. Sensitive player information
Body measurements taken from match video, such as the position of a wrist or shoulder, can be sensitive information. We take them only with each player's express agreement in the recording permission, and we use them only to recognize shots and follow players through a match. We do not use player images or body measurements to identify who someone is. Under our contract, our camera provider processes match video to provide its service to us, and may use match data for its own products only in combined form that cannot identify anyone. You can ask us to delete your recordings, or to blur you in another player's copy. If we ever wanted to use player images or body measurements to identify who someone is, we would first give a separate notice and ask for separate permission.
An expansion into a materially different identification use would require its own lawful process and cannot rely on these general terms.
4. Private access and selected sharing
A match or report can be supplied only to the recipients authorized for that material. A coach chosen for a private Personal Coach Review receives the material and access needed for that service. The purchase does not make the footage public Academy content.
Before sharing a clip or report, check who is identifiable, the selected audience, what is included and any expiry. Other participants' permissions matter even if you are the main subject. A club portal, referral link or commission entitlement does not authorize publication or unrestricted browsing of private footage.
5. Optional research and product development
We use identifiable recordings for software development only with your separate permission. The permission explains which recordings are covered, who receives them, where they are processed, how long they are kept, how to withdraw and that taking part is unpaid. Saying no never affects recording, your plan or your Academy access. Your agreement cannot cover other people in the recording, and it does not allow public advertising, sale of identifiable footage or an endorsement.
6. Anonymized development information
PadelCue may lawfully produce genuinely anonymized information and use it for research, development, statistical reporting, benchmarking and commercial products or licences. This route requires both a lawful initial use and an assessment that people are not reasonably identifiable in context. A removed name or face blur is not automatically enough.
Information that remains personal stays subject to the relevant permission and law. We do not reidentify people in order to defeat a privacy choice. A released anonymous dataset must not secretly include identifiable video, voices, sensitive measurements or links back to accounts.
7. Publicity, streaming and production footage
A club highlight, PadelCue promotion, paid advertisement, public educational example and live broadcast may involve different audiences and risks. The applicable permission identifies the material, authorized publisher, channels, purpose, duration and withdrawal route. We do not infer consent to publicity from agreement to private match analysis or model development.
Public material can be copied or reshared by others. We can stop future uses and remove copies under our control as appropriate, but cannot guarantee recovery of every independent copy. A licence to edit material does not authorize misleading statements or a fabricated endorsement.
Separately commissioned or licensed productions can have broader negotiated copyright, editing and commercial rights. The signed production agreement specifies those rights and consideration. Each person's relevant performer, likeness and privacy permissions must still be addressed. A business's copyright assignment does not erase an individual's mandatory rights.
8. Changing a choice or requesting help
Use the relevant service control, where provided, or contact support@padelcue.com. Include enough information to identify the session or permission. We may need proportionate identity or authority checks, including for a guest who has no account.
Withdrawing an optional permission stops future processing based solely on it through the applicable workflow. It does not make completed lawful use unlawful. We explain any information retained under another valid basis and any limits required or permitted by law. Already anonymized results differ from identifiable source records. A trained model is not automatically exempt if it retains personal information.
Account closure, subscription cancellation, ending future recording, removing a shared link and deleting stored material have different effects. We explain the relevant action rather than imply that clearing a browser preference completes them all. Statutory rights and deadlines remain applicable.
